Radio Derby Daffodil Project
Radio Derby have asked the Parish Council to encourage people to put a daffodil in their window as a symbol of hope, new beginnings, and spring. It is meant as a replacement for the summer rainbows that covered windows across the country last year.
It could be that people knit, crochet, paint, colour or draw and sculpt the daffodils they display. Radio Derby will also have a downloadable version in colour and to be coloured in - which will be available on their Make A Difference page in the coming week.
As a result, we would really like to get the local community involved, so if you could pass on the message for people to create their own daffodils and display them in their windows, then that would be great. We would also really like to see photos of the artwork so that we can share with them so please send photos to clerk@firstname.lastname@example.org
